A: We stock a wide variety of team shades and will match your school colors as closely as possible using available filament options. If you cannot find your exact team or mascot you can send us an email, we always send you a proof of the design before printing!
Q: Are the hype chains heavy to wear around the neck?
A: No. Because they are 3D-printed with a lightweight honeycomb interior, even the largest medallions are incredibly light and comfortable to wear all game long.
Q: What are the necklaces and chains made of?
A: At Hathaway Hype Designs we use PLA (Polylactic Acid): a plant-based, biodegradable plastic that is easy to print, affordable, and ideal for toys, decorations, and light-duty organizers.
Q: Are 3D prints heat resistant?
A: Standard PLA starts to soften and warp around 122°F–140°F (50°C–60°C). You should not leave standard PLA items on a hot car dashboard or put them in a dishwasher.
Q: How do I clean my 3D-printed item?
A: Wash items gently with lukewarm water and mild dish soap. Avoid hot water, harsh chemicals, or dishwashers, as high heat will warp the plastic.
